Brett I. Ladendorf

Brett is the founder and principal of Omega Edge. He has over 10 years experience in fixed income, equities and derivatives trading as well as 5 years spent as a strategy consultant for financial services companies, technology startups and private partnerships.

Recently he built 2 new lines of business at a 28 year-old financial services company. Prior engagements include forming an emerging private equity real estate sponsor and completing a successful turnaround with a change management partner.  From 2009 to 2015 he operated as a research analyst and trader at a management company of and was a co-investor in a Chicago-based hedge fund, New Salem Investment Capital, LLC. From 2008 to 2009 he was an associate portfolio manager with a registered investment adviser, a division of what is now RCM Asset Management, LLC.

Previously he held positions in credit and risk transfer services at Bank of America, R.J.O'Brien and Merrill Lynch & Co.

Brett began his career in the telecommunications industry in corporate finance. He earned his BA in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an MBA in Finance and Accounting from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He earned the right to use the CAIA designation in May 2016.
